A Web 2.0 Class: Students Learn 21st Century Skills, Collaboration, and Digital Citizenship

This is also right up our alley as we futher our knowledge no web 2.0's. It is such an interesting article because it just shows the power of the web and the accessibility we now have a teachers. It is amazing what these teachers did with the technology they had! I would love to be connected like they were! Just think of how much your student would learn being connected with 2 other students from a different part of the world. It is so fasinating, especially for teachers who are so new to technology.

I love stories like this and I hope that one day I will be able to facilitate a classroom like these teachers did! They are really making a difference in our children today!

  1. I wish that all teachers would have the access to computers for all students daily. I feel that if we had that capability we would be able to connect with other students around the world like those teachers and imagine the benefits for our students. Also, we could put into practice a lot of the ideas we have learned from this technology masters program and have the students demonstrate their knowledge through the technological means they are used to and enjoy using. Hopefully someday we will all be able to teach like this and have our students learn from others around the country as well.
